Learning Center and Communications Intern

MVP Dairy May 2021-August 2021 & May 2022- August 2022

Educate the public on the farm's operations and the dairy industry, sharing milk's story from soil to yogurt cup through farm tours and social media. Create social media content for TikTok, Instagram and Facebook and design other advertisements using Adobe Creative Cloud. Edit journalistic pieces and podcasts as well as assisting in the planning of special events.

Communications Intern

Select Sires, Inc. January 2022-May 2022 & August 2022- Present

Assist in various projects with the communications team that include editing podcasts in Adobe Premiere Pro, graphic design pieces using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, social media content, proofing bull data and other media pieces for customers.  

Student Ambassador

Wilmington College September 2020- Present

Provide campus tours to prospective students and their families, alumni, donors and new faculty members. Collaborate with the admissions team in working with agriculture students throughout the recruitment cycle. Facilitate program days and virtual events. Travel to National FFA Convention and Farm Science Review for recruitment events. 

Extracurriculars

Ohio Dairy Challenge Participant November 2020 & April 2021: Work with a team of peers to evaluate a dairy operation's management, nutrition, facilities, and other practices and present out findings to a panel of industry professionals.

Foreign Exchange Program  February 2019 & July 2019: Hosted an exchange student from Cuenca, Ecuador for two weeks, then spent two weeks in Cuenca submersing myself in a different culture and language- deepening my appreciation for diverse cultures. 

Wilmington College Aggies & Collegiate 4-H September 2020-Present: Collaborate with other agriculture students on campus to host events to promote the growth of agriculture such as annual judging events and cattle shows.
